Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was simply delightful. The room overlooked the grounds, with a very generous porch area, and had a spectacular bathroom. The added touches like a decanter with Madeira and homemade chocolates made it even more special. The service was of the highest standard, very professional yet friendly. The location was stunning, offering beautiful walks and immaculate surroundings. The dining experience was excellent with a great selection of produce. Overall, a wonderful stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel provides super comfortable and luxurious rooms with a complementary decanter of sherry and chocolates, although they are a bit dark with not much light. Despite efforts made with the Dyson airblade, the rooms felt a little warm. The service was wonderful and attentive without being overbearing, offering a truly memorable experience with great depth of information on the dishes served and local produce. The location is stunning, nestled in a lovely clearing near a picturesque river, offering great walks and a sense of remoteness. The dining options were delicious, with a variety of cooked breakfast and excellent presentation of produce. Overall, the hotel delivers a luxurious experience but might need improvements in room lighting and temperature control.
The hotel rooms were beyond our expectations in terms of comfort and design. The food was excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable about their offerings. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and well-designed, making for a truly enjoyable stay.
